Despite several high profile airplane disasters happening in the last year, flying is still one of the safest modes of transportation. That’s according to Mary McMillan, Vice President of Safety and Operational Service at Inmarsat Aviation. McMillan told ARN News about how the industry is implementing new tracking technology to ensure the safety of passengers. McMillan adds that ensuring strong ties amongst organisations in the aviation community will also help in preventing future issues.
UAE helps the return of 500 Golden Visa holders and residents stranded abroad
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) said on Sunday it had, in coordination with the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA), facilitated the return of around 500 UAE Golden Visa holders and residents whose travel had been disrupted by regional tensions and aviation restrictions.
