UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held a phone call with Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud to inquire about his wellbeing following the recent terrorist attack targeting him, which claimed several lives and left many others injured.
During the conversation, His Highness extended his heartfelt condolences to the victims' families and the Somali people, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
He also reaffirmed the UAE's strong solidarity with Somalia and its firm stance against all forms of violence and terrorism aimed at destabilizing the nation.
President Mohamud expressed his gratitude to Sheikh Mohamed for the sincere support and concern shown for Somalia and its people.
