UAE responds to incoming missile, drone threats from Iran

The UAE's Ministry of Defence has announced on Monday that it is intercepting incoming missile and drone threats from Iran, assuring the community that the sounds heard are the result of system interceptions. 

In a post shared on X, the ministry assured the public that the sounds heard are from the defence system interceptions.

Earlier, The National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) that air defence systems are responding to a missile threat. 

The authority advised the community to remain in a safe location and follow official channels for warnings and updates.

The Ministry of Defence also asserted that the sounds heard are the result of the forces intercepting missiles and drones.
