Dubai Metro resumed services on the Red Line on Thursday after suffering a 45-minute disruption due to an "emergency technical malfunction".
In a post on Twitter, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) said, "The technical malfunction has been resolved and the affected metro stations are operating normally."

They added that special bus services between Al Jafliya and Business Bay stations were deployed during the period to ferry stranded passengers.
Many commuters took to social media to report the delay.
