A restaurant in Al Ain has been shut down for flouting food safety rules.
Taking to their official social media handle, the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (Adafsa) said the closure orders for Taj Al Manar Restaurant in the Al Hayer area were handed out following repeated violations and the ineffectiveness of the management to rectify the issues.
The officers reported that the management didn't store and serve food in a hygienic environment, thus posing a threat to public health and safety.
