Some conferences and exhibitions have been given the go-ahead to restart next month.
His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Sharjah Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler and the Sharjah Executive Council have approved the resumption of the events managed by governmental institutions and sectors in the emirate.
But the Council has extended the suspension of all social events, weddings and gatherings in community facilities until the end of October to contain the spread of COVID-19.
