Officials are reminding residents in the UAE to be extra cautious after many lost money by sending AED 4 to claim a parcel via SMS.
According to reports, scammers accessed the accounts of the residents after they clicked on the link to make the payment.
Several residents, who received similar text messages, said the scammers posed as established companies.
