Dubai Customs have foiled a traveller's attempt to smuggle over 7 kg of marijuana through the airport by hiding them inside breakfast cereal bags.
Inspectors at Terminal 1 discovered unusual dark substances within the passenger's bags and further inspections led them to the drugs.
The suspect has been handed over to the General Directorate of Anti-Narcotics at Dubai Police for legal proceedings.
