The Philippine Consulate General in Dubai will temporarily suspend its consular services on May 9 and May 10 as its premises will be used for the counting of votes.
The diplomatic mission said that it will only accommodate emergency cases during these two days.
The 2022 Philippine national elections will be held on May 9 but the voting process for overseas Filipinos began last month.
The @phindubai informs the public that in view of the 2022 National Elections, it will temporarily suspend its consular operations on 09 and 10 May 2022 as its premises will be used for the counting of votes.

In order to ensure a safe and orderly conduct of overseas voting, the consulate had announced on Wednesday that it would have an earlier cut-off time of 7:00 pm from May 6-8.
Meanwhile, the cut-off time for May 9, the last day of voting, remains at 3:00 pm.
