A restaurant has been shut down in Dubai's Al Safa Second area for violating COVID-19 safety protocols related to social distancing.
Twenty-five other shops and commercial outlets have also been pulled up for a similar offence.
Nine of them were fined after their employees were caught without masks and failed to maintain social distancing norms.
Meanwhile, warnings were issued to 16 others for not displaying enough physical distancing stickers.
As many as 762 establishments were found complying with the rules during the latest round of inspections carried out by Dubai Economy.
