The UAE's leaders have sent their condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia on the death of his elder brother.
According to a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency, Prince Bandar bin Abdulaziz died on Sunday.
He was 96 years old.
The UAE's President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, sent messages of condolences to King Salman.
The Rulers of all the other Emirates have also expressed their condolences to the Saudi king.
