His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has held talks with philanthropist Bill Gates about the global spread of COVID-19.
During the phone call, they discussed the importance of supporting research centres and medical institutions working to develop a cure for the virus.
They also spoke about the possibility of strengthening humanitarian initiatives in partnership with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
The Microsoft co-founder lauded the UAE’s support for international efforts aimed at tackling the pandemic.
