An official reception ceremony has been held in Beijing for the UAE's President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is on a state visit to China.
He was welcomed at the Great Hall of the People by Chinese President Xi Jinping and a number of senior officials.
Sheikh Mohamed joined Xi to inspect the guard of honour and witnessed performances of the UAE and Chinese national anthems.
A high-level Emirati delegation is accompanying the UAE President on the two-day visit.
