The UAE Floating Hospital in Al Arish, Egypt, has successfully carried out four specialised surgeries for patients from the Gaza Strip as part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.
The procedures included treatment for complex fractures to the femur, leg and hip, bone reconstruction using grafts, the installation of specialised external fixation devices, and surgery to address complications from previous injuries.
Medical teams said all four operations were successful and that the patients are continuing to receive follow-up care and rehabilitation under tailored treatment plans designed to speed up recovery, improve mobility and enhance their quality of life.
Officials said the surgeries highlight the advanced capabilities of the UAE Floating Hospital, which is equipped to treat complex cases through specialist medical teams and modern facilities.
The hospital continues to provide a range of healthcare services for Palestinians from Gaza, including specialised surgery, physiotherapy, dialysis and diagnostic and treatment services.
The medical mission forms part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, the UAE's ongoing humanitarian initiative to deliver relief, healthcare and medical assistance to Palestinians affected by the conflict.
