The UAE's air defence systems are responding to missile and drone threats from Iran, with authorities advising the public to stay in a safe location.
An alert was issued at 3:22 pm, advising the public to follow official channels for warnings and updates.

The Ministry of Defence also assured the community that the sounds heard are due to the successful interception operations carried out by its forces.
