Five establishments have been shut down by Dubai Municipality for violating the COVID-19 precautionary measures.
A laundry in Hor Al Anz and four food outlets located in the fruits and vegetables market were among the establishments that were asked to close.
The authority also fined eight outlets and handed warnings to 38 others for not complying with the rules.
Its latest round of checks covered a total of 2,317 businesses.
